Hello everyone, welcome back to the Jailbreak Trading Network. Today, we're going to be talking about the Javelin. Now, this is going to be somewhat of a continuation of yesterday's video, which was about the Torpedo, except more of an emphasis on the Javelin, everything you need to know about its value, as well as its characteristics. But first of all, we need to discuss how the Javelin was able to be obtained because it wasn't like the Torpedo where you were able to get it from a season. It was actually an event-exclusive vehicle. And so, you were able to get the Javelin from November 4th, 2022, all the way to the sixth. So, that means it was only obtainable for 48 hours, and it cost $929,929. And because of that, that's what makes it rare. Now, this vehicle does have more copies circulating than something like the Torpedo. I talked about that yesterday. Torpedo has about 1,500 copies circulating, whereas the Javelin's is closer to about 3,000. So, the Javelin has twice as many copies circulating to the Torpedo. And as you know, they're both very similar vehicles. But essentially, the reason for the Javelin only having about 3,000 copies circulating is because of this event-exclusive thing that was done for it. And obviously, you were able to get it in front of the million-dollar dealership. I think you guys know how most of the limited-time vehicles work. You've had the same with basically the Scorpion, as well as most recently with the Iceborn. And that, my friends, is what makes the Javelin somewhat rare, despite it being added in the game two years ago. That's a big part in what plays in this vehicle's value, getting some pretty big overpays. But on top of that, it has some excellent performance. The Javelin is in many ways seen as a better Torpedo, except in top speed. There's basically a five-mile-per-hour difference between the Torpedo and Javelin. So, the Javelin is going to be slightly slower in drag races. But the Javelin does make up with that with all-around better handling, as well as, I feel, better acceleration. They're both very similar. And the main reason you would get the Javelin in the first place is because it has the better design. That's right. The Torpedo has always been memed on for being this kind of "Soap Bar." But the Javelin is essentially a superior model of it. It's got the really nice opening doors, as well as mirrors, which isn't that common for a lot of the supercars in this game due to some model limitations, especially with all of the recent polygon restrictions on Jailbreak Creations. So basically, the models that are submitted now in the game are much more heavily restricted in what you're able to do with them compared to then. And that's what makes the Javelin actually one of the most high-resolution models in the game. And there hasn't really been a whole lot of models that look like it since then, since you obviously don't want to have many of these vehicles in the game since they lag out a lot of mobile players, especially because it might be difficult to cache the high-resolution models if you have a device with low RAM. Anyways, let's go ahead and discuss if the Javelin is good for you. So, if you care about absolute top speed, I think the Javelin is extremely well-rounded. It's got great acceleration, great handling, and the only car that really beats it is the Scorpion. However, that car has a little bit of a different gimmick where it has the rocket thrusters turned on. So, until those rocket boosters turn on, it's basically only having the same acceleration as something like a Camaro until it gets to around the 150s, and those rocket boosters activate, which then provides that massive boost so it makes it go like 480 miles per hour top speed. The Javelin doesn't have that, so its acceleration is a fairly stable curve. It's basically just like every other supercar in this game. Very fast. You know what you're getting. It's a track-focused hypercar, so that should basically say enough. And the model as well is mostly like a Koenigsegg, so it's basically the same brand of cars as a Torpedo, but the Javelin has the better customization. So, that's the major difference between the Javelin and the Torpedo. If you like the iconic look of the Torpedo, then there's no reason you should probably get the Javelin if you're just going to be using the Torpedo. Since both the Torpedo and Javelin are extremely similar in performance, you're not going to be trading one over the other for performance. It's really just about looks. As I said, I personally lean towards the Torpedo because it's a more iconic classic vehicle. That's one of the first cars that I bought because I played during the OG seasons, and I basically spent a whole weekend just grinding for the Torpedo, doing robberies 24/7, and so the Torpedo is really fun for me to drive. But I totally understand the hype with the Javelin, where it's basically just a much more refined version of the Torpedo. I think the Javelin is the car that most of the newer player base sides with. Like, if you didn't play Jailbreak in 2018, then you wouldn't see much of a reason to get yourself a Torpedo because you wouldn't really feel anything towards it. And obviously, in terms of design, the Javelin is the substantially better model. And that's often what I'm seeing in trading. So, a lot of players have been saying, "Oh, why is the Javelin catching up to the Torpedo?" Well, I basically said it. It's mostly the newer player base in trading. They've been really wanting to get themselves a Javelin over something like the Torpedo. However, as I said, the rarity comes into play because the Torpedo is a much rarer car, and us OGs then don't want to trade it for anything really less than that. I'd maybe only consider trading the Torpedo if I'm getting myself, like, a Hyper Blue Level 5, something like that. That's basically what I've been seeing a lot in trading. However, as I said, right now, there is a difference of 7.5 million between a Torpedo and Javelin. I think it's pretty fair considering what characteristics are at play here. The Torpedo is almost four years older than the Javelin, hence why it's probably always going to have a pretty dramatic difference in value unless, like, a lot of the OGs start quitting because that's what I've been seeing. Lately, I haven't really talked about how regurgitated the gameplay has been in Jailbreak, and it's even gotten to me where I'm just using Grand Theft Auto as the background. That's definitely been something plaguing the game a lot, hence why a lot of OG players have been quitting recently, and you only see YouTube content creators stick with this game for a few months before moving to something else. So, you know, that's how it's been recently. Although, I think this is a fairly comprehensive review of the Javelin. You just can't beat the Javelin because it has very good launch speed, great acceleration, good reverse speed, and an excellent top speed. I feel its turning is just a little bit better than the Torpedo. It doesn't lock up that much when going very fast, and its off-roading is pretty good too. I have to say that the only thing I might have to add is that its durability is not the best. It's only going to take, like, four or five shots from a pistol before it basically has its tires popped. But at the end of the day, that's basically a limitation of all the supercars, and even then, it's not that bad. Like, vehicle durability is definitely something that more players are maybe starting to become more interested in. But if you don't charge headfirst into a cop, you're probably fine because this car is fast, and if you use a lot of rocket fuel, then you can basically just use any sort of hill as a ramp and just go into the sky, and then you're basically impossible to arrest because you're flying in midair. So, overall, I think that's my opinions on the Javelin. I definitely recommend this car, especially if you're a new player. If you want, basically, a more budget-oriented version of the Torpedo that is better in terms of the model itself, then I see zero reason to get yourself the Torpedo. Just get the Javelin instead. It's cheaper. It's got basically the same performance, and while it's not as rare, it's definitely becoming rare, and maybe in a few years, the Javelin will be easily 40 million, 42.5 million, 45 million, whereas the Torpedo will be 50 million. I mean, there isn't a whole lot you can change with the values. That's just how it's always been. These two cars have always been pulling some great overpays. That being said, thank you so much for watching. If you're new to my channel, make sure to subscribe. If you like this video, make sure to like, and I'll see you in the next one. Have a great day.
