What Is the Value of the Torpedo? | Roblox Jailbreak Trading Network

Hello everyone, welcome back to the Jailbreak Trading Network. Today, we're going to be going ahead and discussing the Torpedo. Now, I've got lots of things to explain about why the Torpedo has been rising recently, as well as everything you need to know about its value. So, let's go ahead and start with the distribution of the Torpedo. On average, there's usually about 1,500 copies, both duped and clean copies, of the Torpedo circulating in the game. And, well, that is a very important thing to know, as several other supercars have substantially more copies circulating, and it's one of the reasons why the Torpedo keeps on rising. As those Torpedo copies circulating start diminishing, that means the supply is going down, and that means the price is going up. So, if you want to go ahead and get yourself a Torpedo, now would probably be the best time to do it, especially since 2025 is the first year where there haven't been some major destructive dupe glitches that plagued previous years. So, in 2023-2024, copies circulating for the Torpedo weren't a problem, because there were just constant dupes of them circulating, and it was basically an infinite supply. But, as of recently, midway through 2024, a lot of the dupe glitches have been patched out, and so you're now starting to see the effects of that, where the Torpedo is becoming rare. So then, let's discuss why the vehicle is popular in the first place. Well, the Torpedo isn't necessarily known for being like the best designed model in the game. In fact, even on the website, I call it essentially the "Soap Bar." But, essentially, it is very iconic. It was one of the first big vehicles added to the game in 2018, and it was also the prize for the first two seasons. So, that was when seasons were first introduced. The way you were able to unlock the Torpedo was by reaching level 30 on the criminal team, and it would cost you $750,000 to actually keep it, and the same thing happened in OG Season 2, but the requirement was lowered because you were able to unlock it at level 5. So then, that means that the Torpedo was quite hard to get at the time. Obviously, $750,000 doesn't necessarily sound like a lot, but back then it was harder because you just didn't have as many robberies. I would say it's basically the equivalent of reaching maybe $1.5 million, $2 million now. That's basically how much the Torpedo used to cost in the game. But, as I said, it's a lot easier to earn money in the game, especially if you do airdrop glitches and stuff like that. That's basically why the Torpedo is getting hard to find, and because of that, it's why its value is skyrocketing. I'm seeing copies of the Torpedo usually go for around $45 million. Now, sometimes you will come across duped Torpedo's, Torpedo's that have a username from someone that duped it a lot back in the day, and a lot of players essentially avoid it like the plague. So, those Torpedo's usually go for $37.5 million. But, if it's an OG Torpedo, on the other hand, it can go for over $50 million. So, as you guys know, OG copies where the username for the item matches the username of the player's inventory. Those are the Torpedo's that go for the absolute most. But overall, I think it's a fun car. Is it the most groundbreaking vehicle? No. I believe the Torpedo has been buffed to make it a little bit more usable nowadays. Ultimately, though, its acceleration is not the best. Its handling is also quite atrocious. In many ways, I believe the Javelin does beat the Torpedo, except the Torpedo is 5 miles per hour faster. But, essentially, the reason why the Javelin can't necessarily overpass the Torpedo yet is simply due to the Torpedo's rarity. A lot of players just value the Torpedo more because it's been in the game for so much longer than the Javelin. Even though the Javelin is basically a redesigned version of the Torpedo, there is, of course, a few small differences between them. But, as of right now, the Javelin starts at $37.5 million and the Torpedo goes for $45 million. And, it is quite well demonstrated because the distribution of the Torpedo is around 1,500 copies circulating, whereas the Javelin's is easily 3,000 to 3,500. I don't know the exact number of duped Javelin's out there, although I am aware that there's way more duped copies of the Torpedo. But, just in general, there's basically twice as many Javelin's as there are Torpedo's out there, hence why the Torpedo is the one getting valued more. But, I'll go ahead and discuss more about the Javelin in a future video, so make sure to subscribe to the channel and be sure to also like this video if you're enjoying it so far, so that way you can stay updated on any other value changes and new content added to this game. But, that being said, one other thing I haven't discussed yet is the demand rating for the Torpedo. So, I need to explain the new demand system. Previously, I used to manually change demands. And, what I mean by that is basically we'd have a sort of tier list where we'd rank some vehicles into like a very high demand, a high demand, normal demand, low demand, or very low demand. But, the issue with that one is that it was just impossible to maintain that for over 500 items on the site. So, we've instead resorted to more of an automated demand rating system, where it's basically taking the copies circulating and the times they're traded straight from Badimo's database, and that's what's determining the demand rating, so you're able to basically get a consistent demand system across all of the items in the game, and, well, as I discussed earlier, the distribution for the Torpedo is quite low, but it's traded a lot. A lot of players, they basically like trading the Torpedo, and that's why the Torpedo's demand rating is 9.33. Now, the demand system isn't out of 10, it's more like out of 30, but that's considered the highest among the vehicles. And, just for comparison, the Javelin's demand rating is 7.45, even though it has about the same roughly times traded. It's mostly just down to the distribution, because the Javelin has twice as many copies circulating as the Torpedo. That's what makes the Torpedo have significantly more demand, and that's why there's a difference between the two vehicles where the Torpedo is very high demand, whereas the Javelin is high demand. So, what can you expect from the Torpedo a few months from now on? Well, I can easily see its value increasing to maybe even 50 million. That is assuming there isn't like a new outbreak from dupe glitches, but, essentially, the Torpedo has always been seen as one of the most valuable vehicles in the game. And, as always, I'll keep you updated on any changes to the Torpedo, but, as of right now, I think it's only going to keep on increasing in value. You should probably have at least one or two copies of the Torpedo, especially if you're a collector, because once those copies of the Torpedo start running out, it's going to be going for a lot someday. That being said, thank you so much for watching, and I'll see you in the next one. Have a great day.

  1. I believe the torpedo will continue to rise because it is many people’s dream car such as mine, and it will continue to well known in the eyes of most players as the most rarest and famous vechile in jailbreak, (excluding pro traders since they know torp is not the rarest vechile)

    1. the torpedo handling is atrocious yes it can go 397 mph but there cars better than that overated ugly pathetic soap bar like the torpedo isnt the best even the scorpion is better scorpion has better top speed better acceleration same handling 1.4 + same revese speed and its impossible for torpedo to reach 350+ scorp can reach over 350 not 350 over 380 i reached 386 which is 14 mph away from 400 so i think giving these reasons the scorpion should skyrocket its perfromance is literally insane
